Castagna, who begins with Harken on July 15th, will be based out of Harken Italy’s office in Lurago Marinone, located in Italy’s Como District. He will be traveling extensively to Harken’s multiple wholly-owned offices throughout the world. He will be responsible for strategic planning and support of Harken’s Human Resources initiatives throughout all Harken operations, and will report to Harken’s co-CEOs, Peter and Olaf Harken.

Pewaukee, WI—Harken’s commercial manager, Bill Goggins, was recently elected president of Sail America. Goggins’ role as president is a volunteer position and his role at Harken is unchanged. Sail America is the trade association for the U.S. sailing industry and plays a vital role for all companies that are involved in providing sailing-related products and services. The organization has over 500 members representing all segments of the sailing market, from manufacturers to sailing schools and from charter companies to publishers.
